DAVIS DYSLEXIA CORRECTION® PROGRAM

The Davis® Program is outlined in full detail, along with the principles behind the program, in Ronald D. Davis’ book, The Gift of Dyslexia. The book explains why some of the smartest people can’t read and how they can learn. The Davis® methods correct dyslexia and other learning disorders for children and adults. Reading this book prior to a Program is recommended. Non-dyslexics may also benefit from Davis® Programs.

All counseling is done one-to-one. Each program is specifically designed to fit the need of the individual client. The Program includes all or most of the following:

  • Interviews and assessments to determine strengths and weaknesses; to set goals
  • Davis Orientation Counseling® for detecting and controlling perceptions
  • Davis Symbol Mastery® exercises for resolving confusions about language symbols, correcting learning difficulties, and improving basic academic skills
  • Koosh™ Ball exercises for balance and coordination improvement
  • Speech and hearing skills
  • Three easy reading exercises for reading improvement
  • Spelling and handwriting improvement strategies
  • Self-awareness tools for reducing stress and controlling energy levels
  • Study and reference skills
  • Support training in tutoring methods for family, friends, or instructors
  • Follow-up sessions for reviewing skills in the original program, if needed
  • Post-program telephone consultations

The Davis® Programs Are Drug-Free

Program Prerequisites
